Firefox Workaround

March 10, 2017 -- The Firefox web browser has discontinued support of Java – and you need Java to view your system. Woodman Controls is aware of this change, and we’re working quickly to update the firmware on our system. This Triudium/Distech solution will update to its system to version 3.8.111.

In the interim, you may use the temporary workaround solution below to access your system.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in the Firefox platform. Please know that we will rectify the problem as soon as possible to keep your system running smoothly.

1.  Disable Firefox Automatic Updates.

Press the Alt key to bring down the top Menu. Select tools/options.

Click on Advanced (on the left) Select the Update tab. Under Firefox updates: Chose either: Check for updates but let me choose whether to install them. or Never Check for Updates. 

2.  Download Firefox Version 51.0.1 from Mozilla. It can be found at this link: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/51.0.1/win32/en-US/Firefox Setup 51.0.1.exe

3.  Close all Firefox windows to install it.
